Literal meaning of AL-HADITH:

The word Hadith is derived from the Arabic roots which means: new information about something or incident is Hadith.

Technical meaning:

Information about the sayings, deeds and silence (when something is happened in his presence) of the holy prophet (p.b.u.h.) is Hadith.

Kinds of Hadees:

There Are three types of Hadith-e-Qauli, Faili and Taqreeri.

1-Hadees Qauli: (حديث قولى)

Hadith-e-Qauli is the kind of Hadees in which the sayings of the prophet (P.B.U.H) are mentioned.

2-Hadith-e-Faili:( حديث فعلى)

Hadith-e-Faili is that kind of Hadees in which the deeds and lifestyle of the holy prophet (P.B.U.H) is mentioned.

3-Hadees Taqreeri:( حديث تقريرى)

Hadees Taqreeri is the kind of Hadees in which the silence of the holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) is mentioned when his companion did some thing or said some thing
in his presence.

The Coveted Entry to Ar-Raiyan -- the Gate in the Paradise

Ar-Raiyan is a coveted gate in the Heavens but who can enter it?

The Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h) said,

"There is a gate in Paradise called Ar-Raiyan, and those who observe fasts will enter through it on the Day of Resurrection and none except them will enter through it. It will be said, 'Where are those who used to observe fasts?' They will get up, and none except them will enter through it. After their entry the gate will be closed and nobody will enter through it."

"Allah said All the deeds of Adam's sons (people) are for them, except fasting which is for Me, and I will give the reward for it.' Fasting is a shield or protection from the fire and from committing sins"
